Horizon vs eToro

A brokerage with CopyTrader built in: your money is at eToro, and you copy other eToro investors. Here is how the two compare, question by question.

Checked against etoro.com on October 26, 2026

At a glance

eToro and Horizon both let you copy other people's trading, and they part ways on where your money is and what you copy. eToro is the broker: you fund an eToro account and CopyTrader mirrors another eToro user's trades inside it. Horizon runs in the broker account you already have, and what you copy is a strategy with rules and a live track record rather than a person's clicks. Horizon also builds your own strategies from plain English, which eToro does not do.

Moving from eToro to Horizon

There is nothing to import. Three steps take a rule you run there to a strategy running here.

  1. Pick the strategy on Discover you want to follow, or describe your own in plain English in the Builder.

  2. Read the rules and the creator's live record before you commit.

  3. Connect the broker account you already have and turn it on. Nothing moves out of eToro unless you choose to.

Note : eToro is described as its public site described it on October 26, 2026, and it may have changed since. eToro is a trademark of its owner; Horizon is not affiliated with it. Details: etoro.com
