Overview
Alpaca is a commission-free trading platform for US stocks and ETFs. Horizon connects to Alpaca through a secure hosted login portal rather than pasted API keys. Today this connects an Alpaca Paper Trading account only; connecting a live Alpaca account isn't supported yet.

Access & Control
Your funds remain with Alpaca (Paper Trading).- Horizon cannot withdraw funds from your broker account.
- You choose whether to enable a strategy for live trading.
- You can manage or disconnect the account from Horizon.

Available markets and features may depend on your Alpaca (Paper Trading) account. Review any broker charges and your Horizon plan before using a live strategy.
