At a glance
TradingView is where many traders already study charts, and Pine Script is how they turn an idea into a tested strategy there. Horizon takes the same idea in plain English, tests it and runs it unattended through your broker. Most people keep TradingView for charts and use Horizon for the part that has to run on its own.

Choose Horizon if
- You can say what the strategy should do but do not want to write or debug Pine Script.
- The strategy has to run on its own, without a chart open or a computer on.

- You want to copy strategies that creators are running live, or publish your own.
Choose TradingView if
- You want the charts. Horizon is not a charting platform.
- You already write Pine Script and want full control of the code.
- You trade by hand from the chart and want alerts, not automation.
